  1. Beautiful dog, G! Staffy, right?
  2. Here's a pic of one with the power top opened....... The main feature that drew me into these......
  3. I think they are pretty neat! It's a Sterling kit car........ It's VW powered, but I'm sure you could sneak a Porsche engine into one......
  4. A lot of that trim, especially down the sides, could be done with black BMF..... If you have a fresh sheet, it's pretty good to work with but older sheets don't stick well.
  5. Thanks Michael! The lady who did the home interview is actually the lady who transported Callie from the shelter where she was found to the rescue. Her 5 year old granddaughter is the one who named her.......
  6. Well Guys, it looks like I may be on the home stretch to getting my dog! I had a home interview today which went very well. The lady who did the interview said that the dog they have in mind for me would be the perfect match...... She's a 5-6 year old brindle Bully named Callie. Beautiful awesome dog! I just hope the rest of the adoption process goes as smoothly as it has so far........ Hopefully the next update will be with pics of my pooch.....
  7. Bill, was that the same 273 that they put in the Formula S Barracuda? I believe they had "wedge" heads and big valves...........
  8. I had a '74 Dart as my first car, every 6 months it would burn up the ballast resistor, so I can relate!
  9. I've always had a soft spot (not in my brain, mind you......) for the '55 thru about '75 Mopes. They had a unique way about them that kind of made them stand out from the crowd. Some of the styling of a lot of the cars was bold and "special" in it's own right. Like the '66 Monaco........ pretty mundane in it's day, but tell me this isn't a sharp car! and it's tough to beat those funky tail lights....... So tell us what you like about the old Chrysler products.....................
  10. That profile shot................
  11. Thank you, Steve...........
  12. So does anyone have an instruction scan or pics of this kits contents? I'm very interested in it but I would hate to get it to find it's as bad a kit as their 1/25 version...... I looked on fotki for the instructions but they aren't posted...... Thanks!
  13. I get good results from DupliColor engine enamel primer........ Goes on thin and can withstand their touch-up paints..
  14. Excellent Work, John!! Where did you find the "Devil Heart" license plates? all I ever see are the "Plymouth Makes It" plates..........
  15. I am VERY interested in this kit! Does anyone have content pictures, and what would be the differences between the '79 and the '80, '81 versions? Obviously the hoods and decals are different, is the rest of the kit basically the same? Thanks!
  16. I went to check my attachments as I try to keep my alloted space free of too many uploads, and noticed the percentage bar was missing....... Do we now have unlimited attachment space?
  17. How about the "Defender" from the Viper television show........
  18. I've never seen either of these done in scale! What movie was it where they smuggle a van made of hemp across the border?
  19. There's some good info in this thread about getting the Mag finish...........
  20. Bill, are you putting a Viper nose on the Predicta II? The profile shot looks awesome!
  21. Yea, those cars are Wild! It would take a fair amount of sheet stock to build one......... I believe there is a kit of a van done Bosozoku style, not certain tho.........
  22. Do you guys think that, in the 1:1 and model world, that every genre has been touched on? that every style has been explored? What trend would you like to see that we haven't seen? I think we are just borrowing ideas at this point, but maybe blending styles to add our own personal touch........
  23. Krylon makes an acrylic in their Cover Maxx spray can line. I know you said no to decanting, but you can use it on your acrylic craft paints, and it sprays from the can just fine, no need for an airbrush........
  24. What about some of the more obscure TV/Movie cars? Dodge Stealth from Smokey and the Bandit TV show Inspector Gadget's Lincoln Viper from the TV show of the same name (I liked when he went into battle mode) Dodge concept car from The Wraith and my personal favorite, the Coyote X from Hardcastle and McCormick..........
  25. So, I'm excited! I made contact with a Bully rescue in South Carolina called "Recycla-Bull Terrier Rescue"..... She was very nice and knew the breed, but they didn't think that a puppy would be in my best interest. She described the Bully puppy as "Hell on wheels".......... probably too much dog for an apartment. She was more than willing to talk to me about an adult dog, though, so I must have come across as a sincere person. It's still a couple months out, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they can match me with the perfect Bull Terrier, where we will fit each others lifestyle..........
