  1. Led Zep's "Battle Of Evermore"..............
  2. I have a love/hate relationship with clear coat! You can make a mess of otherwise beautiful work rather quickly if you goof on it, but when the planets are aligned just right and you do a good job, it's a really good feeling.......
  3. "There might have been things I've missed, but don't be unkind, it don't mean I'm blind".............
  4. #1 is "Icky Thump" by The White Stripes.......... The song is about him going to Mexico for a, um, "companion"......
  5. Thank you for the info, Bill....! I always thought the OHV conversions were readily available to the average person, like Edelbrock parts are today..... It would be a more realistic build for the time frame I'm shooting for if I use a Cadillac engine or early Hemi............
  6. Yes! I have much respect for the 'Rogue Poet' and his music.........
  7. Thanks for that! I have the Ardun speed parts, also have a Caddy engine that I was thinking of using.......... I guess either one would work, then......
  8. 1-- "My momma said, that it's good to be fruitful, but my momma said, don't take more than a mouth full..." 2-- "When that fog horn blows, I will be coming home, Yea, when that fog horn blows, I want to hear it, I don't have to fear it.........."
  9. I plan on my next project being a '53 Victoria. I was just wondering.......... would people have put an Ardun-equipped engine in these cars back in the day? If not, what would be a suitable replacement for the kits flathead? I'll be doing it up as a mild custom........ Thanks for any answers....!!
  10. Yep! Even got the album right.............. When I was a kid I had the "Countdown To Extacy" album, been hooked on Steely Dan since..........
  11. 1-- I will be watching over you, gonna help to see you thru, I will protect you in the night..... 2-- On the counter, by your keys, was a book of numbers, and your remedies..........
  12. Thanks, guys! Glad you like it.......... this is a good kit, the SBC engine is nice, I'm saving that for something else, and it comes with a set of 'big & little' Cragers.....
  13. Thanks, Carl...! Yea, the rims are from the panel truck kit, and the tires are from the rat rod '29 pickup......
  14. Here's the latest model that I have completed. I put the Caddy engine from the '49 Merc kit in it, some spots, and custom tail lights which are clearance lights from a '53 pickup.......... I really enjoyed this build, may do another soon... any and all comments welcome!
  15. I always feel moved by the song "The Great Gig In The Sky"........ She really puts her heart into the vocals! "There is trouble in the forest, and the creatures all have fled, As the Maples scream 'Oppression!', and the Oaks just shake their heads"
  16. Pink Floyd's "The Trial".........from The Wall album...
  17. QOTSA, "No One Knows"........
  18. You can also get Rustoleum clear from WalMart.......... it's an enamel, I used it on the last build that I posted here, an '09 Challenger.......
  19. You could name it "ve-GO!" or how about "Mega Vega"..........
  20. This one is Living Colour's "Cult of Personality".......!
  21. After you copy the IMG code, try Ctrl+V to paste into your post....... that's how I have to do it..
  22. Thanks, Guys....! I haven't seen much in the way of reviews of this kit, neither positive nor negative, but it's a really nice kit that goes together pretty easily.......
  23. 1) "Spring is here again, Reproductive glands....." 2) "After dinner I had ice cream, fell asleep and watched TV, woke up in my Mother's arms..." There is a theme here, if anyone catches it.......!
  24. Thanks for the replies, Fellas! I plan on going mild custom with this one, already have some artillery wheels found (my favorite wheel for this era car), and have been doing my homework on the kit......... One more quick question, is there a stock seat available for the '37 Coupe? Not crazy about the "sculpted" seat that is in this kit. Thanks again.........!
  25. You're right, Randy, The AMT '36 does indeed have a spare..... I just checked it out on Model Roundup. It's a rumble seat car, though. How incorrect would it be to put a spare on a trunk car?
