  1. Yep, that's exactly what I did.....! Kind of a hack job, and I can't use the metal axle in the front, but the kit comes with plastic axles that I cut to long enough to hold the front tires in place.......

  5. You guys think it's possible to take the black chrome while it's still on the sheet and polish it down until it would pass as a gray color?

  9. I am working on a model that I plan to paint black, and was thinking how awesome it would be to have some gunmetal foil for the trim...... What do you guys think? Would this be a good seller?

  13. What impressed me about it the most was she was playing with PowerPoint in her down time, when her work was finished! A little nerdy, maybe.... but very cool in my book
  14. My 11 year old niece and a couple of her friends got a little recognition for a project they worked on in their spare time. They used the PowerPoint program to make slideshow presentations. Her project was How to grow a Pumpkin. The teacher was so impressed with their work, that it was presented to the local Board of Education!

  21. Quick update for today! Just wanted to give you guys a peek at how the interior is going to look, and how the engine came together. Also got the hood decal on.... rustybill, I got the wheels in a trade with a pretty cool member here, they are from Fujimi.........
  22. Thanks for the comments, guys! Glad you're interested in my project..... Slusher, I had to trim the bottom of the block to raise the oil pan so it would clear the K-member. Jeremy, the intake is the only blue on the engine, just wanted a splash of color for the engine bay. Interior will be brown and tan two-tone....... Again, thanks for looking in, fellas!
  23. Small update for you guys! Just wanted to show you how the intake turned out with the holes filled. Also, I solved the problem of needing an electric fan......
  24. Thank you Mr. Kreger! This engine I'm using, any of you guys know which size is it? Is it the 6.1? It's from the Testors Charger Daytona 1/24........ Just want to make certain before I add any call-out decals..
