I feel you on the decals, Justin! These were actually a pleasure to work with, the guage decals actually fit to the faces, they don't have a border like most older kits do........

I almost forgot, I haven't installed the headlight lenses yet.......

I bought this kit to get the engine and suspension, when I found the parts wouldn't fit my kit-bash efforts, I decided to build it..... It's not as detailed as the kit will allow (There are decals for the cruise and climate controls) but it turned out OK I guess..... Hope you all enjoy! Any and all comments are welcome............!

After 3 years of dumb questions, half-built models, and otherwise inane posts, I finally hit the 500 posts mark! It may not show in my builds, but I've learned a lot from you guys, so much that I will never be able to repay........

You can get good results with WalMart enamels... What I do is spray on my color coats and let them dry. Then wet sand until all of the gloss is gone. You may think you are ruining your finish, but once the paint is dull from sanding, there is no orange peel. Then you can clear over it. I have gotten good results with Rustoleum Crystal Clear..... Hope this may help some!

How about "beauty bands" or trim rings? The '37 panel seems to have large diameter wheels, I'm hoping maybe there is a kit with a trim ring that will fit? Thanks again..........!

I was gonna show you how the paint turned out, but photobucket isn't working right now..... I went with a brown because I couldn't find a black like I wanted. It looks OK, maybe I can get pics up later!
