  1. Thanks a lot you guys! This is one of those kits I keep returning to to see how far I've come with my building.... it's the third time I've built this kit, and each time is more fun than the last!
  2. Thanks guys! I really appreciate it.....
  3. This is my latest creation..... This is a really great kit to build, can't recommend it enough.... Comments are always welcome!
  4. I've always heard that you Never mix ANYTHING with bleach, as it could create chlorine gas!! What I would do is try sanding off the clear coat, then soak in something a little less dangerous.......
  5. How does this look to you guys? Does it look weathered to you? I've been trying different meathods on fading, I think I may be on to something........ just wanting an opinion
  6. Thanks, man.... Modelhaus makes a '64 Dodge truck, you can get a complete kit or a transkit that comes with just a cab and interior.....
  7. My latest paint drawing... Hope you like!
  8. Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments! Slusher, the truck is painted with Italian Olive satin from Krylon, closest I could find to olive drab.....
  9. Hey, guys..... I got a "previously owned" Samsung L100 from a family member...... If you have seen these before, you know how bad my pics were with my old camera

  14. Dodge SRT-10 Viper truck '67 Plymouth Belvedere II (not GTX) Lucerne blue SD 455 T/A Cadillac CTS-V (4 door, please) Coyote X (with the correct 914 engine
  15. Where can I order the Cowboy Bebop ships from?
  16. I'm a big fan of animated shows, and there are a few that have some great ideas for kits... figures, space ships, etc.... SymBionic Titan has some cool armour figure ideas, Lance's Mantis armour, Ilana's Golden armour, then there is Octus the robot. And of course the Titan, which the three of them form together to battle enemies.... Then there is Cowboy Bebop. Some cool space vehicles could come from that show, including the mothership "Bebop"..... What do you guys think? Would these not make for great kits? What are some of your favorite cartoons that you would like to see kitted?
  17. The one with the more material where the springs mount would make the rear of the car sit lower if I'm not mistaken, kind of like using blocks on a 1:1....
  18. He replied to an email I sent him just a week ago. He sent me his address, which I could PM to you, if you'd like....
  19. Thanks guys for the help.... I believe I found the color code I was looking for, it's KK1 turquoise. Does that sound right? Would I be able to find this in Dupli Color?
  20. What's a good source for the turquoise color that Plymouth used in '67 on the Belvedere/GTX? All I can find are the High-Impact colors......
  21. Not meaning to undermind the above post, but if you remove 6 mm that's about 6 in. in scale....
  22. Thanks for the info and the link, Bill... the frame is suspended on each end by huge coil springs, kinda like the Tijuana Taxi. I was hoping I could use it as a guide for making a frame... As for the clay, would I need some sort of release agent to keep the acrylic from sticking to it?
  23. I've been obsessed with this car since I was a kid. I am thinking about trying to build it. I believe the body will be easy enough to make out of card stock. As for the embossing, what material could I use to carve a mold into to pour maybe acrylic paint in to get that effect? And the frame... is there maybe an old show rod's chassis that would work, or would it have to be scratch built? Any help is greatly appreciated...
  24. Does anyone remember these? I saw these in various magazines and books as a kid and thought they were too cool!
  25. I'm artistically inclined, I write poetry, and I'm a natural at playing pool... Here's a drawing inspired by a Black Crowes album cover...
