  3. I have always built mine from scratch but no more! This is a great idea and method, and I will be using it for all of my future builds. Thank you.

  6. Before I get into the reason for my posted question, I need to give you some background. I have not had to purchase or sell a vehicle in over 25 years. But the time has come, due to age and health reasons, that I need to off load at least one of my three cars. Sadly, I am looking at selling my 1996 Thunderbird LX and I am not sure how I should list it. This is a car that I ordered and took deliver in Nov 1995. For the first couple of years it was a daily driver. Then I bought a second car so that I could keep the miles down on the T-Bird (odometer presently reads 73K). It has never been in an accident - clean title - and the paint, glass, and interior are in excellent condition. The car will be 30 years old this November. Now to my question. If this were your vehicle and you were selling it, how would you describe it? Is it a classic or maybe a collectible or just well maintained. Another reason for my question is that I plan on selling the vehicle privately and not use it as a trade in. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
  7. Very nice, neat and clean.
  8. I build both automotive and aircraft, with an occasional odd subject that has caught my attention. I normally have two builds going at the same time. By doing it this way, when I am waiting on paint or glue to dry on one, I can work on the other. To keep the builds organized on the workbench, I alternate the builds. One build is a car and the other is an aircraft. No chance of confusing which parts go to which build.
  9. Very nice, neat and clean!

  13. WOW, I had no idea that kit existed! Great job on the build.
  14. If you are not building a museum piece or a commissioned build where accuracy is a must have, then have fun and build it your way with what materials you may have on hand. You are the only one that has to enjoy the finished project.
  15. My first car was a 1959 Impala. Bought it in 1967. Exterior was Highland Green with green interior. Drove it for a little over a year and then traded it in for a 1964 Impala SS. Gotta love the Impalas!
