  1. Looks awesome. The purple and trim will really set it off.
  2. Beautiful, beautiful. That's the quality of finish I hope to attain someday.
  3. Chris - thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate it. I guess the invite to come via biplane to NNL East you're taking a raincheck on, right? John - I wish it was about to be wrapped up. More fuel lines, the box Ted mentioned, hoses from the valve covers to the frame, finish the wheelie bars, underbody supports, more decals, etc. Thanks for checking in and I'm waiting for your next project. We just had a bad electrical storm with hail and the computer decided to reboot itself. Ted- I was looking at my "intricate fuel pumps" and thought it looked like something Dr. Suess had dreamed up, but it roughly replicates what is on the Sentry Olds FC. I am also in the process of redoing the tinwork that goes over the blower.
  4. Ted- I don't have mine on yet because I have more return fuel lines to run to a junction and then to the fuel tank. This is what the inside of the box looks like on the Sentry Olds funny car, but a bank of solenoids is missing, according to Bruce. Yours looks excellent !! I want to see more pics of yours.
  5. Wow, what a project. I'll be watching to see your progress.
  6. Thanks for looking.
  7. Here's Willie's arm mocked up on the body, some more fuel lines added, and one rear wheel with studs and lug nuts.
  8. Thank you for your comments and encouragement.
  9. I agree, it looks great. Once it's done I might have to print out all your pics and create a coffee table book !
  10. I like your ideas. Can't wait to see more.
  11. Excellent job so far.
  12. Greg - any more progress pics? Curious how this build turned out.
  13. Looking forward to more of your awesome progress, and the pics from Mr Allphin are very interesting.
  14. Excellent work Brett. Looking forward to more.
  15. Looks good. I can see where this might be a frustrating build, with the body coming in pieces. Will this be a military hotrod? Will it be a ratrod with some rust?
  16. I agree, looks great. Looking forward to the rest of the build.
  17. Excellent job. I agree with iborg - I'd like to see work-in-progress pics if you have them. I see a couple of you guys mention the Sox & Martin truck. Is it a kit available?
  18. I was looking for an update and noticed this is 1/24. Excellent job. Excellent.
  19. I like the idea of a black paint job especially since it's an Imperial and the gold engine throws in good contrast. How about some light gunmetal wheels?
  20. Thanks. He had some wheel/tire sets painted on display but I didn't ask if he sold them like that. I have an AMT '37 Chevy stock car to do and was wondering if there were other wheels and tires available. I'll check out that site. Have you used any of his products?
