  1. I agree with Mr. Frias - a benchmark for others to aspire to. And I think I will make myself a printed version for the coffee table.
  2. Outstanding John. Another winner.
  3. Terrific detail work. Looks like a perfect fit - tin to body.
  4. Nice looking lines. Can't wait to see more.
  5. Ted- I found the other photo of the black box showing the two gauges on the side. Also the computer box he said sat behind him between the frame rails.
  6. The one on the far left (airframe) and the one on the far right (polished) look alike in the photo. Probably the way the light is hitting them. You're the one that can see the real deal, though. They all look good like John said. I've got to try some of the Alclad.
  7. Super progress John. I'm curious how you're doing the brake pedal.
  8. The two end spoons look identical in the photo. Do they look the same in person? The chrome effect looks great. The headers look real. Great job. Looking forward to this paint on your parts.
  9. Boy I'm glad I don't have to pay tuition to sit in these "classrooms" on here. There are so many professors here to learn from.
  10. Very nice. What scale?
  11. Excellent progress Niko. Love your work.
  12. Thanks Ron, I appreciate it. This has been a real learning experience. Thanks Dave. I always appreciate your input. You know your way around these cars much better than I do. Can't wait to see more of your salt flats car.
  13. Love this so far John. This project has John Teresi written all over it. Looking forward to more.
  14. Thanks Mr. Laski and Mr. Davis. I appreciate it. I hope to get more done next week. I'm working both days this weekend. Like other employers, mine has cut personnel and distributed the workload around to the rest of us. Just got an order from Charlie at Pro Tech and that's always encouragement to do more. Looking forward to seeing more from both of you.
  15. Love that side-by-side shot. They both look great.
  16. Excellent progress Chris. Looks like the tinwork will be done soon and painted. I noticed pins/rivets holding things in place at the rear of the side windows...........they will eventually hold the speakers in place, right? Ha.
  17. Looks awesome. The purple and trim will really set it off.
  18. Beautiful, beautiful. That's the quality of finish I hope to attain someday.
  19. Chris - thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate it. I guess the invite to come via biplane to NNL East you're taking a raincheck on, right? John - I wish it was about to be wrapped up. More fuel lines, the box Ted mentioned, hoses from the valve covers to the frame, finish the wheelie bars, underbody supports, more decals, etc. Thanks for checking in and I'm waiting for your next project. We just had a bad electrical storm with hail and the computer decided to reboot itself. Ted- I was looking at my "intricate fuel pumps" and thought it looked like something Dr. Suess had dreamed up, but it roughly replicates what is on the Sentry Olds FC. I am also in the process of redoing the tinwork that goes over the blower.
  20. Ted- I don't have mine on yet because I have more return fuel lines to run to a junction and then to the fuel tank. This is what the inside of the box looks like on the Sentry Olds funny car, but a bank of solenoids is missing, according to Bruce. Yours looks excellent !! I want to see more pics of yours.
  21. Wow, what a project. I'll be watching to see your progress.
  22. Thanks for looking.
  23. Here's Willie's arm mocked up on the body, some more fuel lines added, and one rear wheel with studs and lug nuts.
