  1. My lowly opinion is to build it as a fun car and not worry about class rules, and then build another one that fits the rules of the class you want.
  2. Thanks for the reference pics Dave. Valuable info.
  3. Excellent job.
  4. Excellent work. Love it Scott. Sometimes I use film too. I bought a Nikon at a great price because everyone was going digital right after I bought a Leica point and shoot film camera. The Leica has a great lens in it for a point and shoot. Keep up the good work. Do you sell your work ?

Jonas - Very good work. I especially like the green '56 Bel Air. John is right - you will like working on illustration board. It costs a little more but will stand up to more. I think the Crescent company also sends out free samples of their boards and watercolor papers. And adding a light spray coat of workable fixatif will protect the art from smearing. Keep up the good work.
  6. Thanks Niko. I love doing it.
  7. Coming together really nice. That thing looks indestructible. Can't wait for more.
  8. Looks really so far. I struggle with the fuel lines, too, but keep going.
  9. I love seeing your updates Dave. Great work.

Great photo Scott. The surface of the hood really stands out with the reflections. Post more...........
  11. Excellent work. Great variety. Keep going.
  12. Wow! Fantastic work John. Fantastic.
  13. You've gotten some good advice on here Niko. Practice, practice is the key. You're doing a great job. I especially like the outlaw Camaro.
  14. Thanks guys. I appreciate the encouragement.
  15. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Yes - what they said. Incredible results. Question - is the geometry of the front suspension pretty much the same on all Pro Mods, or does it depend on the body style ? I need to go back to earlier posts and learn what determines the angle of the struts, the length of the steering arms, etc.
  17. I believe someone recently posted an illustration from Hot Rod mag that shows one of Grump's Camaros that would help. Sorry, I don't remember the exact post.
  18. Looks really good so far Alan. Keep the updates coming.
  19. Looks like a really good start Mitch. Good advice Brett.
  20. Great paint Chris. When you get valve covers, blower and injector hat done how about another mockup with it sitting in the chassis ? Can't wait for more.
  21. A great help Dave. Thanks.
  22. SO GOOD Dave. Super topnotch work. I believe we're out of words for your results. I am very fortunate to have seen two of your cars up close.
