  1. Beautiful work Rickard. Can't wait for more.
  2. Love the look of the pedals Scott. It all looks good.
  3. I think the color looks great and yes, the scratches look like they are in the base coat or primer. Hopefully you won't have to repaint the whole thing.
  4. Art - everything looks great. Looking forward to more.
  5. Keep the progress shots comin' .
  6. I also agree, great job.
  7. Great job Bruce. Thanks for the paint and decal info. How did you tone down the chrome rims ? A dark wash ?
  8. Another awesome build John.
  9. Excellent job. Excellent.
  10. Chris, the hatch is looking really good and the pulleys from Dave look great. He is a down-to-earth genuine guy. I got to meet him this year and he answered all my dumb questions. He is not the kind of guy that gives you more info than you asked for. He doesn't flood your brain with too much. He answered my questions and when I asked for more about a subject he gladly responded. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge and we are all glad he makes it available to us. Merry Christmas to all.
  11. I'm soaking it in and taking notes. Good weekend to stay in and work on it, eh ? With this snow storm moving in............
  12. Excellent work.
  13. Chris - awesome updates. How did you get those rivets parallel to each other ?? Mine would be all over the place. Great work. Don't rush anything.
  14. My lowly opinion is to build it as a fun car and not worry about class rules, and then build another one that fits the rules of the class you want.
  15. Thanks for the reference pics Dave. Valuable info.
  16. Excellent job.
  17. Excellent work. Love it Scott. Sometimes I use film too. I bought a Nikon at a great price because everyone was going digital right after I bought a Leica point and shoot film camera. The Leica has a great lens in it for a point and shoot. Keep up the good work. Do you sell your work ?

    My drawings

Jonas - Very good work. I especially like the green '56 Bel Air. John is right - you will like working on illustration board. It costs a little more but will stand up to more. I think the Crescent company also sends out free samples of their boards and watercolor papers. And adding a light spray coat of workable fixatif will protect the art from smearing. Keep up the good work.
  19. Thanks Niko. I love doing it.
  20. Coming together really nice. That thing looks indestructible. Can't wait for more.
  21. Looks really so far. I struggle with the fuel lines, too, but keep going.
  22. I love seeing your updates Dave. Great work.
