Looking great John. I agree with everyone. I'm sure it will be another stunning build when finished.
Chris- you're right. It will look great next to your Army FC. Ha.
Looks great. You say the paint has been decanted a long time. How long can paint be decanted before it has to be used or gets a skin on top ? I've never decanted anything but want to soon.
Echoing what everyone else says - it looks great. I learn a lot from your builds.
Is the bracket at the top of the windshield driver's side to hold a box for toggle switches ?
Much better clearance for the firewall Mr. Sobak. That's where I ran into trouble AND in the hood opening. I had to enlarge it to accomodate the fuel lines. You're making great progress and it looks like a good solid build all around, nothing that you won't be afraid to handle.
The mockup looks great. I agree that you need to fix the clearance problems now. I've had to deal with the same thing AFTER the body and tinwork were painted. Engine detail and fuel lines now so you can see any clearance issues.
This is looking GOOOOD !! I love the stance and the license plates in the interior. Looking forward to more of this and some rust. Like they say at Rat Rod magazine - in rust we trust.
Good score on the airbrushes and compressor Jason.
I picked up an MPC 1972 GTO. I plan to build it similar to the silver '57 Chevy in the current Hot Rod magazine. I ordered a 588 BB engine with a Holley Dominator from VCG resins and their 6 spd Tremec tranny. What came today were the AMF tires from Plastic Performance and the Wide 5s from Early Years Resin. Good stuff. I'm getting the ride height laid out now. I've cleaned enough flash off the parts to build another car !! Wish me luck.
