  1. Not sure if this is the exact same kit that I got at Michael's, but if so, check the blower to hood clearance. I used someone else's tip and added small strips of styrene to the bottom of the blower to raise it to a more realistic level. The 1:1 car has very little room between the engine and hood window.
  2. Looks great John. Love following your creations. Wish I lived closer to these contests that are mentioned. I would love to see your builds in person.
  3. This is excruciatingly cool !! I will definitely be following this. I agree with the P51 idea, but maybe mix in a little John Force with it ? Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be a keeper.
  4. That color looks great.
  5. Looks great so far. Looking forward to more updates.
  6. Yeah Rickard congratulations on your house. The scoop looks great. My stupid question of the day - would it have been easier to repair the top of the cage instead of building a new chassis? I've never done one from scratch so my inexperience is evident.
  7. Mr Geiger- my first thought is "I wish I had those skills and experience." But it is something we will never forget. A build that is a real journey. Keep 'em coming John and congratulations on the trophies won at the Roadster Show in Pomona.
  8. I agree with everyone. The wheelie bars, slicks, and body look great, and the headlight angle trim came out perfect.
  9. Looks great Doc. I love ratrods. Can't wait to see the guitar. I might have missed it, but where did you get the guitar?
  10. More greatness. You're right Danno. I thought of that 1" square as soon as I posted the request. Thanks for the coin, too Chris. It helps. Wish I could see it in person.
  11. Looks great Brett. All of us here in the Northeast are jealous that you're having summer now.
  12. Looks great Chris. Love the progress. Please put a coin or something for size reference in a pic for me. I'd like to see the size of the cable and frame.
  13. Looks great John. Can't wait to see more.
  14. Chris- see this pic from Bruce Larson's Corvette FC. The circled area shows the pedal. I don't know if it helps, and I realize it's not the same year as the Vega FC.
  15. Hope we enjoy the work ??? We love it. Hope you're making more progress.
  16. Looks REALLY good. Love the stance.
  17. Lookin' good Scott. Keep the updates coming.
  18. John this is one crazy freak of a car, but I love it. I know you will do it right. Can't wait for more.
  19. Terrific work Mr Davis. Looking forward to more.
  20. I agree, looks great so far.
  21. Any updates ??
