  1. Awesome John. Very shiny smooth paint. All of it looks great. I'll bet that was a bear to hollow out.

  3. Any progress on this Mr Pugh? If not, I understand. I have 20-some kits started.
  4. A great job Greg. Now to find the '40 Ford build and hopefully more of the '53 Vette.
  5. Lookout it's the Finnish Evel Knievel ! Chassis paint looks good.
  6. According to the current owner of Chrisman's two early cars, Jim Barillaro, Mercury is responsible for making the first successful funny cars. They decided to put funding into the sport of funny car instead of SuperStock like Ford did. Ford was very upset that Mercury was having such success in Funny Car, like Nicholson winning 90% of his match races. Also according to Jim, the cam made by Crane was instrumental in making the horsepower for his blown Fords. Jim takes both of the Chrisman cars to events and does burnouts with them. Very cool.
  7. Looks great. What if you made the red gas can on both bases, clear and white, and trimmed the one on white base smaller than the one on clear base. Put down the decal on white base first and then carefully applied the one on clear base over that. The fun will be lining them up. Just a thought.
