  1. Thanks guys. Progress has been slow lately. Other stuff gets in the way. Ted- no, I've only tried the one size so far. Lately I've had some luck with cutting the braided line at an angle and feeding it through the fitting. Of course it doesn't always want to cooperate. I used white glue to hold the fitting to the styrene sheet so I had both hands free to feed the braided line and hold the sheet. But the idea worked really good. Lately I've been working with a different size line, so I haven't used that jig. Bill and Chris - thanks for the encouragement. When I dropped the engine into the frame with the fuel pump and line for a mockup, I discovered that the oil filters are almost blocking a hole for a return line on the fuel pump. I'll have to figure something out there. Thanks for looking.
  2. Yes, welcome and looking forward to more of your build. The supercharger and scoop look really good.
  3. John, this looks awesome. It is incredible. Keep it up man. The paint job is great. Wish you were closer so you could go to the Dragfest this weekend.
  4. Gregg, love the 50 Olds and I vote for the front wheels on the 1/12 Shelby. Last night it was 27 degrees and we had to shut the bedroom window. Looking forward to your finished kits.
  5. I just found out this morning that this annual nostalgia dragfest is this coming weekend Nov. 10th from 10 am to 4 pm at Bruce's barn in Dauphin, PA. Sorry about the late notice. I hope to go and get plenty of pics. Hopefully some of you can make it. Dave
  6. Thanks guys. I appreciate it. You'll both be here this weekend to make it look right, yes ??? I've learned much from you guys.
  7. Looks good Charlie. What scale is it?
  8. A little update. Got more work done on one of the main fuel lines and the oil lines attached. Thanks for looking.
  9. Looks REALLY good. Love the stance and detail.
  10. Good deal. Let the glue and paint flow................
  11. Amen to that. But the next $ spent on it will be maintenance like shocks, struts, find out what that noise is up front and change the diff. fluid. I have 97,000 miles on it. Too fun to drive to let it sit. But this subject is about your car, not mine. Looking forward to more of your build.
  12. Any progress Brett ??
  13. I threw in a few exterior shots, too. I noticed there are no clear spots on the taillights, so you'll have to drill some holes and add clear from some left over sprue. You'll notice my car is not all stock. I put in the Optima battery and K&N intake. Have fun.
  14. A few more.
  15. Here's a few. More to come.
  16. John...........fantastic, awesome, inspiring and all the other words we use to try to decribe something we can't describe. And so we stare.
  17. Looks great. Looking forward to more.
  18. You got it Jon. In fact I was going to take some new ones because the ones I took last spring, I can't find. Tomorrow I will take a bunch since it's supposed to be nicer since Sandy passed over. Hopefully have them on here by Sunday night.
  19. Looks really good. How did you get the perfect lettering on the valve covers?
  20. Looks good so far.
  21. Good progress. Looks really good. What color will the body be?
  22. Great job. I like the ghosted pic, too.
