  1. I like it Doc. The color looks great and the engine sits just right.
  2. Thanks guys. I appreciate your input. Barrel valves are next. My eyes will hopefully survive it. Maybe in 20 years I'll be doing work on your level of skill. I'll only be 78 then !
  3. Looks REALLY GOOD Chris. Looking forward to more.
  4. That is cool. It looks beefy enough to withstand some abuse, like chasing groundhogs around the fields.
  5. INCREDIBLE . Looking forward to more. Where do you find references for wiring and hoses?
  6. Awesome work and I know what you're talking about when you mention your eyesight. At 58 I deal with the same thing. I pray that your eyes and brain survive to build another 50 projects.
  7. Minor update - I dirtied up the fake arm by rubbing a little black wash on it and then rubbed some graphite from a 6B pencil on my fingers and put that on the arm. It stuck really good because I used flat white as a base. I also added some upper brackets for the wheelie bars, soon to be added. Thanks for looking.
  8. Looks great John. There's a lot I don't know about drag cars, too. Like how a shifter like yours works. Those of you who know, please tell me how a shifter like this works. Does the driver just push the buttons to go to a higher gear? What does the lever do? Go from forward to reverse gear?
  9. Thanks Mr Putt. Great reference shots. I appreciate it because I have WJ's Olds on the to do list.
  10. Here's one of WJ's trunk area. Hope it helps.
  11. Do the lines converge at a T and then one line goes into the frame rail and back to the master cylinder? Or do both lines go into the frame? Thanks for your help Dave. Bill, thanks for the encouragement. Love your work. The gaps that you can see in the frame extension were filled in with scrap styrene before painting.
  12. I just read the whole thing. N ot sure how I missed it. Terrific detail and quality.
  13. My dumb question - is this a curbside build? It looks really good so far.
  14. You're at the top of the heap, Dave. Can't wait to see more progress.
  15. Wow. Super nice work. Can't wait for more.
  16. Mr Hedlund- I hope you will post updates soon. I'm looking forward to more.
  17. Looks really good Scott. I'll be watching your build.
  18. I agree with all these guys John, ready to see more.
  19. A great collection. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Wow that looks great. Awesome paint and details. 1/25 ?
  21. Great job. I have two Pro Stocks on the back burners and hope they come out as nice as yours.
  22. Updates - I extended the front frame, painted it, and added the bumper. I'm happy with the results. Any comments or ideas are welcome. I also added the front wheels. At some point I want to add the front brake lines but don't know where they run. In the shots I took of the Sentry Olds car, I can see they run somewhere under the chassis. Hopefully I can get back over there when it suits Bruce and get a few more pics. Thanks for looking.
  23. I agree. Amazing work. I'm going to have to get a 5 terrabyte drive to store all these pics from the forum for my Scale Encyclopedia/Reference. Cant' wait to see it painted.
