  1. "Conscience" is a concept that's laughable to some, and mixed up with "conscious" by others...including an "educated" acquaintance of mine.
  2. "The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."
  3. Sleep can be elusive for corrupt, evil geezers who've spent their lives lying and cheating and stealing.
  4. Roles played by the maid sometimes included taking hot rolls and coffee to the chauffeur while he worked on the engine in the Rolls.
  5. 'Cause shur as shootin', y'all cain't mention Genrul Lee nor show a Cornfed'rate flag wi'out sumbody's head explodin'...thass why.
  6. Well that's cool. Kinda Brubaker Box meets Deora. I like heem.
  7. Sticky in this situation comes from years of neglect just sitting in its case, but a resto is in the cards 'cause I can play to the coyotes out west without offending the delicate ears of my neighbors.
  8. Real nice. The Kustom Kar vibe you have going with the front end really works, as does mounting the taillights vertically. Big smile-maker.
  9. Valves on my trumpet are really sticky after 50 years.
  10. Wow. You have a girlfriend who has sufficient manual skills to use duct-tape? I am impressed indeed.
  11. It was a dark and stormy night, but we weren't worried because we were the things that go "bump".
  12. Decades ago, Rustoleum was a reliably high-quality product that I used for a wide variety of non-model and occasionally modeling projects. I never had any issues with the stuff, and their fish-oil based "Rusty Metal Primer" was about as close to magic for protecting steel stored outside as I've ever seen. Now, as with so many other products plagued by "offshore" production and only spotty quality control, you never know from can to can if you'll get anything that's even usable. I still have acceptable and very predictable results from most Duplicolor products (though they seem to be constantly tinkering with and renaming their primers), and Tamiya made-for-modeling paints are the best currently-available rattlecan materials, period.
  13. Thanks for posting this. I had no idea such a model existed. Fine looking build, photography, and lighting. Looks very much like the movie poster.
  14. "Supertramp" should have been my last ex's nickname.
  15. Looks good so far. Beautiful rendering work. I'll definitely stay tuned for more.
  16. Imagination without the skill or discipline to accomplish something with it is just intellectual REDACTED.
  17. Gee willikers. I'm gettin' a real yen for 'em now.
