Four years later ... I'm back with same build ... but more time on my hands I filled the hood blower opening, as my build will not use the blower. Also custom 'printed' drivers racing seat.

THANKS RAT-T …. THIS LOOKS PERFECT …. MUCH APPRECIATED !!

Hello, After a thorough internet search I have drawn a blank. Does anyone know of a detail parts house that produces a 1/16 race car seat from resin or similar. Currently I am looking into having one 3D printed. Thanks in advance.

I have found that cotton buds work wonders for smoothing out all the nooks and crannies. -
Awesome, I love it !! What kit was the basis for this model?

Hello all, after a 15 month break, I'm back and I've got the bit between my teeth to finish the Charger.....

"Geordie, quick stalling and get back to work!" Well said Bonekrosha! I'm back, three years later, same kit. I find myself at home for a month, on doctors orders. Today I did some work on the engine cage, front suspension parts, headers, rear end and tranny. Some parts are almost ready for paint. Need some new putty though, the years have not been kind to my old tube.

Great job on the model and heart warming photos. Great job all round.

Great project, I will be following with interest, how about a saloon car circuit racer, similar to the ones that still race at the Goodwood Festival of Speed / Revival?
-
Would love to see some more progress on this.

Tom, Great work, you aren't by any chance an engineer or machinist, your build is very systematic and organized?

Excellent, seeing this made me smile. No 'apps' needed for this hobby. Great job !!

Awesome, you've captured the '70s street freak look very well, excellent stance and wheel choice.

Eye popping paint, excellent job !!!

I very much like the approach of this, like the kind of vintage circuit car you'd see at the Goodwood Revival......very cool.

I am a sufferer of a related complaint, 'perfectionitus', fearing of starting any model becuse of the thought of making a mess of it.
