  1. The tip on producing realistic welds in scale was great. But I have to wonder why you'd replicate a weld on a model of a fiberglass car???
  2. Excellent build Bill. As usual you never stop amazing me.
  3. Dave, That's great. The flames are fantastic. Now maybe I'll get my old Dairyland express out of storage and do something with it.
  4. Looks really great Steve. Got any more pics?
  5. Excellent job Paul. Love how it turned out.
  6. Steve, It looks great. And so do the others on your web site.
  7. The box top states; Truck cab by Tim Ahlborn, trailer and '40 ford by Richard Melillo.
  8. The Dec. 2007 issue of Mopar Action has more on this beautiful car. I plan to follow this one as I'd like to do one myself sometime in the near future.
  9. I'm glad to see this one return. And this time with far superior box art. I personally found the junk yard scene of the last issue to be in poor taste. The new decals are looking good too.
  10. First off Uwe, welcome to the forum. Secondly the details are outstanding.
  11. Finally Dave's bringing us some Mopars! And it's fantastic! Really looking forward to this one. BTW the box art and decals are beyond description!
  12. Davy, Try here. If they don't have it, make a request to Bob Black (owner/moderator). He can put out the word on what you need. http://www.thedpmcc.com/instructionsintro.html
  13. I love it. The color. The stance. The engine. Love all of it!
  14. Paul, I love it. Can't wait to see it finished.
  15. Yep. Looks like things are back to normal.
  16. Bill, I've tried building this kit many times over the years, but I've never been satisfied with the finished model. With the help of your tutorial, I believe I can do much better next time. Your build is just awesome. I don't think I can say anything more than what's already been said.
  17. Same here Harry, just wish I still had them. Still it looks great.
  18. Just beautiful. Great color choise.
  19. Wow, that's a great build. I just surprised we haven't seen more.
  20. 1971 Road Runner's, my first love. Great build. Love the color.
  21. I've been watching this one from the beginning and all I can say is it's great. You've taken a classic model and turned it into a masterpiece.
  22. I did... I did... and am I drooling. Fantastic Harry.
  23. That's one bad Bee pat. Love that color.
  24. Glad to see you decided to go and build it. Project's looking great. Can't wait to see it finished. It's too bad that Hawk will re-release the Lil Red Truck instead of this version. I'd like to have a go at it myself.
  25. Ben, If you can get a hold of an old "Car Model" magazine from March 1972, there's a better article on how to do this type of painting. Instead of using bottled paints, try spray painting thin coats over the water. Just remember to layer the colors backwards to your intended scheme. Haven't tried it yet myself, but I do plan on trying it out one day.
