    Lil Lambo

This one was built from a 1/43rd AMR kit. It's a 1964, I think, Lamborghini 350GT. Still my favorite Lambo. Paint is Duplicolor Emerald Green with clear on top. Chris
  2. Wow Mark! After checking out yours and Bill's (Davis) scratch building talents, I feel like a real HACK! Just amazing stuff. Chris
  3. Geez Bill. Just when I think it can't get any better, it DOES!! Really inspiring work man!
  4. Built this one OOB from a 1/43 Provence Moulage kit. Paint is Duplicolor Electric Currant red with a few coats of clear lacquer. Chris

    Bizzarrini

Thanks John! I like 43rds because there are more kits of the cars I like. I've built quite a few of John Simmon's kits myself. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure I "planted the seed" to get him to develop his Cheetah kits and then supplied some various pictures to help him out. I'll keep building them as long as my eyes hold out, but I'm getting up there myself! Chris

    Bizzarrini

Built from a 1/43rd Vroom kit. The Bizzarrini P538 had a mid mounted Corvette 327 with a cross ram manifold and four webers similar to the Grand Sport Corvettes. Paint is Duplicolor Cardinal red. Chris
  7. This one was built from a 1/43rd Renaissance kit. Not built as any particular racer rather as a private team or vintage racer.

    STP Turbine

Nice job Mark! Might want to mention it's 1/43rd. A couple of the guys are mistaking it for 1/24th scale, which is pretty high praise in it's own right! Again, very well done. Chris

    64 GTO

It doesn't look like you should be too worried about improving your skills. That looks great!

    1964 GTO

Thanks Gary. If I remember, I got it off ebay for about $40.00. That was about ten years ago!

    1964 GTO

Hmmmm, it does look similar. I wonder.....

    1964 GTO

Hah! Bet you thought it was a Pontiac. Provence Moulage 1/43rd kit.
  14. Good grief Tim, that is very cool! Wheels are perfect. Stance is perfect. I always liked those front mounted blowers. I really, really like this car!!
  15. This is a 1/43rd AMR model of the 1954 Carrera Panamericana race winner. Built OOB with Duplicolor Flash red paint then overcoated with Micro Gloss clear over the decals. Chris

    Cro Sal Cheetah

Thanks a lot guys! Now if I could only find one of the Mini Exotics Cro Sals, I'd have one in 1/24th! Chris
  17. Holy cow Terry! You can't get any better than that! Paint finish, foil work, everything just perfect.
  18. Looks very period correct. I really like the pearl effect. Nice engine detail, too.
  19. This is a 1/43rd kit by George Turner Models of the only Cheetah roadster. Built OOB with the exception of some photo etched driving gloves added to the interior. Chris
  20. This is a 1/43rd kit by Marsh Models of the "Flip Top" Cobra. So called because it had a one off body that had a forward tilting one piece front end. The trunk and rear fenders were also one piece and tilted rearward. The Shelby team nicknamed it "the turd". I hope I don't get in trouble for that! Chris

    Ford GT-40 MKII

Another nice 43rd Mark. Still one of my favorite color combos. Chris

Off to a good start Brett! That's going to be BAD!
  23. Never seen that one before. I like it!
  24. Here's a 1957 Maserati 300S built OOB from an Original Miniatures kit.
