  1. Wow reminds me of my moms 65, you even got the color and engine right!
  2. Looking good.
  3. I'll try and post a pic of the kit trans tomorrow if I get a chance.
  4. I am only using it because i have it on hand, my dad told me he didn't think his was a 727, as his had a stock trans from a 57 Chrysler.
  5. Does anybody also know what transmission it has? It looks to be an automatic(which is what I actually need). Thanks in advance.
  6. That's why I was uncertain. My dad listed it as a 392 because of the Firepower heads,(the model it's going in is a replica of a 55 F-100 he used to own) but I saw multiple articles stating that it was a 426.
  7. Is it a 426 or a 392? Thanks in advance.
  8. I agree with Harry 100%. My dad has had MANY Chrysler vehicles over the years, and they were all better than the Pinto he had. His current work car is a 1990 Dodge Dynasty which has had been heavily abused , but it still manages to go every day.In my opinion, the worst car ever made is probably the Ford Pinto after what my dad told me about his.
  9. I dunno, maybe. He has two buddies I need to finish before i'll test that!
  10. This is my first airbrush attempt in nearly 3 years. I think I did pretty well.I started with an older Revell snap kit that was damaged when I bought it. Any feedback welcomed.
  11. The hood sits lopsided, the problem is the molding on the cowl panel piece, is it supposed to be removed or does it stay? This is the new Round 2 kit and i just bought it today. Thanks in advance. I have another bad one, Round 2 MPC Monaco (Roscoe's car). Same deal as Caprice, anyone else had this happen with these two?
  12. The description they give sounds more like a description of a rat rod to me:"It packs a 400 hp diesel out of a Ford F-350, a Dana 80 rear-end, and a look and feel that would make Max Rockatansky feel right at home. This is Mitch Allread's custom fabricated creation and it is, without a doubt, one of the coolest things on the road today. This is a machine that transcends the traditional hot rod formula by breaking down borders and setting its own stage. Whereas most hot-rods are built by custom shops utilizing parts from mail order catalogs, Mitch took a different approach and fabricated just about everything on his ride by hand. Calling this a rat-rod would be an insult - a work of art however... that'd be just fine."

    Looks good.
  16. I asked my dad and he told me the car had a 3-speed Power glide 350. He said he had never even heard of a Super Turbine 300. Any kits with a Power glide?
  17. This is the first minivan i'd actually consider driving.
  18. I want to make a replica of my moms 65 GTO and her car was automatic, but the AMT kit has a manual tranny. The interior already doesn't have a clutch, but how could I make the manual trans into a auto? Thanks in advance.
  19. That can't be a '86, Earnhardt didn't get the Good wrench car til '88, up until then he had the Wrangler car.
  20. Definitely check craigslist. My brother had a bike stolen up in Columbus and he went to craigslist looking for another, and the listing had been posted about an hour after it was stolen, and in the background he could see the cut lock. So i would definitely check craigslist before anything . Sorry to hear that though.
  21. The Monogram 50 F-1 has one. It is Molded in light blue plastic and showed a blue truck on the box. The box looks like this.
