I wouldn't worry about the window tint, because that's how they look in real life (especially the older style of tint), so in my eyes you've done a fantastic job overall

Thanks guys Philip, the colour used for the base is Testors Sterling Silver 3D Metallic (Rattle can) and Tamiya Clear Red (Rattle can) From memory I shot around three coats of the silver for the base followed by several coats of the clear red to get the desired result, hope this helps mate.
