Nice work -
Cheers and thanks for the comments guys I am using BMF Harry, just got the 'new and improved' type, I just didn't have any when I built this, sometimes BMF is hard to get 'Down Under' and you have to make do Thanks for the painting tip Monty and yes, he was pretty happy with the finished product

G' Day all, When I first joined the forum (late May this year) I posted a new topic showing some of my completed builds. The 1970 RHD Mustang Mach1 got a reponse from a few curious members, so I thought I'd do a topic on this build She's based on a mates car 'down under' and he asked me simply to build a model that looks like his He went and bought the Revell Mustang Mach1 'Special Addition' and I did the rest. The beauty about building this kit was having the real car as reference The only changes made were flipping over the dash to RHD, being symetrical, was pretty straight forward. The downside was the very flimsy wood grain instrument decals (the drivers side ripped) so I painted it instead Paint is Testors by Boyd 'Dark Green Pearl' over a silver base. Wheels and tyres came from my spares and the 'Shaker Scoop' is a resin one from 'The Parts Box' here in Adelaide http://www.thepartsbox.com/ The real car is currently undergoing some major repairs, in the photos of the real car we just did an engine swap (351 4V Cleveland) Cheers and thanks, Ray

Once again Shawn, always appreciate your updates and look forward to the progress Quick question, are you building anything else to have a break from this one so that you don't get bogged down too much with the details !? You know, something on the side !! -
