Here are the contents of the 1/25 Revell Surfite kit, one of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's vehicles: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1623/1-25-revell-surfite A transversely mounted Auston engine, 10 and 12" tires and wheels, and a funky asymmetrical body designed to carry a surfboard...what's not to like?

I first saw one of these earlier this year and had to build a model of it. I made the roll cage, battery, fuel cell, exhaust, rear quarter windows, washer bottle, fan and radiator. Aftermarket parts were; Detail Master 5-point harnesses, 13" aluminium wheels from Scaleproductions.de, resin Honda B-18 V-Tec engine from Studio 81, resin louvres from Arcer fine transfers, aluminium extinguisher, braided hose and fittings, and a decal on the roof. I hope you like it

I saw a Mini in a yard and had to get a closer look. Couldn't believe it had a Volvo 2L turbo engine stuffed into the rear. I decided on the spot, that I'd have to try and build one.

Revell Drag Austin... I've got a soft spot for slow English cars. So now I'm going to "restockify" this Austin. Gluing the doors shut because I hate hinges... New seats, new wheels, smaller diameter rear wheel well, taillights, grille... Cosworth 4 cylinder engine? Hmmm.... Here's what I'm starting with.
