Built this a few years ago. I ended up displaying it in a mode l shop near where I live. Unfortunately the guy who owned the shop ended up closing, and stole 8 of my models including this one. Today all I have is pictures, but at least I hope its under somebody's glass somewhere.

Hello, here is my current project.. Its 70`Charger from Revell Fast n`Furious kit.. Im not going to build Torettos car, since i wanted to do something else.. Paint is Tamiya Candy lime green.. Like you see, i opened headlights for grille.. Started engine wiring and plumbing.. Interior piece got some weathering.. Im doing this something like: it has fresh paint, fresh engine and chassis parts, but some pieces on body, i mean inner fenders on engine space, that interior panel where back seat should be, and chassis will be in "old" color of this car.. So its kind of middle of progress, but still in driveable condition.. I hope you got my point, my english is not well to explain it better..

Checking out everything that's in the box with the new 70 Charger. Wonderful kit, crisp molds and sweet redline tires. Will make a great complement to their excellent 68 and 69 kits. Couldn't wait for this kit to come out, and when it did I bought one immediately. Been waiting for some time to build it and since I just lost my job I have a lot of new found time on my hands for some builds. This is MPC's release of the 'Country' Charger in 1:25th scale. It's basically a direct re-pop of the long running General Lee kit, all the General Lee parts are included and you'll get an optional set of Torq-Thrust wheels and new flag decals with various names and numbers in the same font as the General Lee car. I am in need of parts to put a 1/18 die cast DOH '69 Charger back together. Someone robbed a bunch of pieces off of mine and it would be nice to make it complete again. It's just a shelf piece and will display OK once it is complete again. The body and paint are in excellent condition on the model - not sure why someone would have ripped a bunch pf parts off of it, but people do what they do. Mine is not to reason why, as they say.List of needed parts is as follows: 1) door mirror 2) pair of vent windows 3)windshield wipers 4) gas cap 5) steering wheel and column 6) complete exhaust system Or would be happy to obtain a damaged or worn Charger that I can use for the parts. Can purchase or trade. Thanks in advance.

My '68 Charger that I just finished. Nice kit, although I had a heck of a time with the front bumper/valance fitting. Had to use super glue on the 3 pieces to get it to stay. Not perfect fit, but I moved on...LOL. I went with the Plymouth Plum Crazy paint and I really liked the way it came out. 3 light coats over the dark gray primer, then 3 light coats of Testor's One Coat clear. I went with the street version mostly, but stuffed the 426 Hemi in there and added some nice Mickey Thompson meats in the rear. Used the Mopar rims and some purple accents on the interior with Purple Embossing powder for the carpet. All in all, I think it came out pretty good. Hope you like it. Once again, much thanks to this board and it's members for the tips, tricks and projects posted. I read through this board a lot!

This was the third kit I've worked on since I've gotten back into the hobby. I've been away from building for 15 years. This kit went together rather well. I cannot say there was much of a problem. The paint is Duplicolor MC201 Metalcast Anodized Blue with a Duplicolor Plymouth silver base. As I work more and more, looking back I should have rubbed out the orange peel. I'm learning... Help! I'm trying to finish up Revell's '68 Dodge Charger R/T "special edition", but the front stance is too high. I'm about to pull it apart, but wondered if anyone else had this issue?

I started this car back in October 2012, and I'm getting back at it to try to finish it up. Here is where I stand right now: Engine Interior Undercarriage The body is at the "Paint Shop" right now (thank you Tom ), so hopefully I'll have more updates once the body is all painted.

Hey guys. back with another project to show! This time I'm doing my favorite car from the Hot Rod series Roadkill. I've never attempted a car like this before with all the body damage and faux wear and tear so this is a fun change of pace for me. Any tips from you experts on cool weathering techniques? Here's the body so far... Freshly painted. WAY too clean for the general mayhem lol Post wear and tear from the body meeting the basement concrete floor lol I think it's turning out nice so far!

What's up guys and girls? I have another Charger for you! This is the yellow labeled pro modeler 1969 Dodge Charger. Did not do any body modifications other than cutting the motor mounts to make the massive Hemi sit right in the bay. The wheels may not be the right year for the car but it is what i had on hand and they where free! They came from the 1968 Charger kit. Details include wired spark plugs, battery, firewall, and brake booster. I added real rubber hoses for the heater and radiator. Interior came out to be my best yet! Made seat belts using craft ribbon and BMF. The floor board was flocked using nail flocking (really cheap on eBay, $10 for an assortment of 10 colors). Center console also has a little BMF added. The chassis is pretty simple, just some painted on details. First time trying the over spray look, probably went a little over board. Pint is all rustoleum rattle can with the vinyl top being one of their satin finishes. Can not remember the exact colors but can find out if needed. Don't be scared to point any flaws, only makes me better. Hope ya'll like it! Thanks!

Utterly bored out of my mind here lately, I've decided to start getting the body of this one ready for paint. Color will be Testors Star Spangled Blue lacquer (I have four cans of the stuff, so why not). As is customary for me, this will be curbside, using stock wheels and AMT tires.

Owing to the fact that Round2 is on a good run with the MPC reissues , I wonder if the 1973-1974 Charger Rallye is slated for reissue ? Correct me if I'm wrong , but didn't it make its last appearance in c.1983 in street machine livery ? Its stock tyres and wheels were in absentia , but it was otherwise "stock" ( never kind that horrible "limo tint" phase that MPC went through in the early-mid 80's ! ) . Any Idea Whose Beautiful Work This One Is ?

Hey guys just wanted to show off my model of the Dukes series close up car. I'm a huge Dukes fan so for those who don't know about this car here's some breif history. This General Lee has been traced as far back as the 2nd Season. During the TV series this car was titled "WGL 02". It was a close up car and would have only been used with the actors in the scene and not a stunt car. Nine out of ten times, if the hood was open, this was the car was used for the shot. This car had a black engine bay, smoothed and boxed firewall, chrome hood hinges, chrome upper grille/latch tray, and the engine was dressed up with chrome. Always loved the way this car looked under the hood. Went for the season 3 version specifically. If I ever own a G.L this is how it will look in the engine bay.

I've been building models for about a year now, and I have been a fan of Fast and Furious. When watching Furious 7, The Charger in this movie is the best looking one yet, so i want to build it in 1/25 scale. I have read some of spencer1984.com posts and have become quite confused. So here are my questions 1) Base Kit? Should I use the Revell Die-cast Fast and Furious Charger and transplant pieces into another charger 2) Blower? Should I use the Revell DIe cast blower or another one 3) Bumper? I've read that the ModelHaus one is good for build off of a plastic kit 4) Rims? If anyone knows where I could find a close or almost exact replica of the rims, I would be very grateful Thanks Attached are picture of the charger from the movie

Hi all! I am new to the forum and would like to share pictures of my Dodge Charger model which I'm currently building: I picked this up from a yard sale last year for maybe $5. The model quality is quite bad, so I figured I'd do something custom and not build it as the General Lee. The chrome on this model was terrible, I stripped everything for re-chroming with Alclad. The engine was primed and sprayed using Zero Paints Orange. The valve covers which came chrome were stripped and painted matte black. The wheels and roll cage were painted in Zero Paints Gold. The wheels actually had great detail after stripping off the old thick chrome. Detailing the wheels. After spraying the stripped parts with Alclad you can really see a difference in quality. Stripping the chrome basically saved this model from looking like a cheap kids toy. Detailed the engine with some spark plug wires which was a first for me. Also created my own pulleys and fan belt using black tape. For the interior I wanted to do something stock so I went with a blue interior. I sprayed Zero Paints light blue metallic over black so that it will be a couple shades darker then the exterior which will be done over white primer. I added a touch of red to the tachometer for something different.

Okay here's my WIP thread for this project, take 2. I'm using the Revell '67 Charger body/chromy bits/glass. The engine and a few random parts from the AMT Allison Thunderland Thunderbird kit. The rest is from the parts bins or scratch-built. Here's what I have so far. There' been quite a bit of trial and error to get the stance and wheelbase squared away. I'm still up in the air on decals/graphics for this project. So if anyone has any suggestions I'm all years. Planning on Inca gold for the color. Let me know whatcha think.

An oldie' but a goodie,,,MPC's 1/16th "Street Charger" Awsome kit to do,,had to modify very few things other than the "minor mods" I had in mind. Was going to clearcoat it,,but it looked kindof neat semi-gloss after a couple coats. Keep up the great stuff out there!

It's been almost 3 years since I completed last model. Now I got time and will to continue this amazing hobby and I decided to start working on 3 models at the same time, because this models are very similar with similar paints and parts. The models I'm working on are: Revell 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, Revell 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8 and Lindberg Dodge Charger SRT8. All the parts were prepared for painting in the last couple of days and today some of them were painted with aluminum revell enamel 99. The body colors will be Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat for Charger and Magnum and Plum Crazy Purple for Challenger. Sorry for bad pics taken with my phone. Revell 69 Charger pro modeler kit,build one or two ways,very nice kit if i might say so. As for me i had in mind stock,but this always seem to fail as it goes on. Ok,some facts,primer and paint are Tamiya TS. Distributor is MAD,the supercharger is BNL,i used Alclad on this,the carburators,the air intake is body color (hard to see). Engine is the 426 from the kit (It also comes with an 440 magnum). 4speed manual,stock interior with some foil and attempt at woodgrain paint.flocked the floor and the shelf behind the rear seats. The body is all stock. The floor/chassis is AMT and Revell put together,70/30. Oh yeah,i forgot the mirrior inside the car,also i dont have any braided wire for fuel so i could attempt detail a little more. I belive the washer container should be white,but i took the chance and painted blue on the inside,and its clear. I consider try getting some sort of jig for fuel/brake lines later on,its extremely difficult holding with one hand and fix with the other lol. Wheels are "Customs by Terry" on Ebay. The supercharger belt is from Mike DeLuco "Shucky",yeah i think thats about it. This is my first pro street car so i hope you like it. Also i would like to thank Jeremy Newman "outkast1027" for the rear tires. Here are some pictures.

Here's Dom's 70' Charger from the movie Fast Five. Built for the Fast and Furious tribute build to go along side Brian's 72' Skyline also from Fast Five. Built as close as I can to the one seen in the movie. It started out as a Revell 69' Charger, the w.i.p is here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=87233 if anyone is interested in seeing the building of it. The grille was made from scratch with styrene sheets layer over one another then sanded down to be mostly accurate. The wheels were modeled by me and printed by Shapeways. Most of the interior was also made from scratch covered with heat and air duct tape for the aluminum look. I'll try to get better pics of the interior a little later. Thank you for looking!
