fseva Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I just wanted to add to all of the other comments about photographing the color Red - if you use a lot of compression to keep the file size down, it will make your Reds look horrible. When I want to have excellent looking enlargements of a red subject, I will instead reduce the size of the photo instead of increasing the compression. At no more than 10% compression, your reds will look accurate/gorgeous. Hope this helps...
Ken Gilkeson Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 Frank the color of the car in the images is accurate, it is not red.
carl63_99 Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Love the subject, nice clean work! Only one question, is that thread for spark plug wires? If you can't find a hobby shop that has some, try old electronics, ie a mouse. The wire inside the cord is just about right for 7mm spark plug wire, very flexible, and the outer part can be heater hoses. Again, great work! -Carl
fseva Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Frank the color of the car in the images is accurate, it is not red. I guess I should have been more specific - the red or orange of the engine compartment.
