Mopar - D Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks for the comments I was able to spend a little more time on this today. Installed the engine and drive train I used aluminum tubing to extend the drive shaft. Placed the "The Boss" decals from the JoHan 70 GTX like I did on the original one. I'm planning to spray the Hemi Orange on the cab tomorrow.
mustang1989 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Man it's really good to see you back in action again Dan!! Been meaning to touch base with you and have been covered up during my time off. Will give you a shout soon. You still on for Austin?P.S. Progress is Smokin' ! Great work!
Mopar - D Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 Finially was able to get some orange paint on. My air brush gave me some trouble this time around with the Mopar paint. I'm going to use some black BMF on the trim lines.
gatorincebu Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) Now that is looking real good! The orange really pops. Be WellGator Edited September 17, 2015 by gatorincebu

slusher Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Looks awesome Dan, glad to see this build and you at the bench...
Mopar - D Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 Thanks guys I plan to get more done this weekend.
Mopar - D Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 Working on getting this finished for the Austin show next week. Ive now painted and clear coated the cab and finishing up the interior.
mustang1989 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 You know I was thinking two things Dan. 1.) This is just too cool!!! I love it! and 2.) It woulda been cool if you would have tossed a Boss 302 or Boss 429 engine in there to go with that "The Boss" logo on your ride!
Mopar - D Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 Thanks for the comments, Joe, the "The Boss" decals came from my JoHan 1970 GTX just like I did on the first one back in 1970 so there's some Mopar tied to it. Installed the hydraulic lines and finished up the interior. Started to check out some lights. Going to bend some tubing for the exhaust stacks tomorrow
slusher Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Looking killer Dan, cab paint and trim looks great. Cool caution lights...
Mopar - D Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 Thanks Carl, I'm just about finished with my C Roll Back. Installed the exhaust stacks and some lights just need to add the wrench on the bed.
mustang1989 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Man you cant beat that with a stick Dan!!! That's one wild and crazy ride right there.
Davewilly Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Very cool! Looks great with the fruit wagon on the ack also
Mopar - D Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 Thanks for the comments guys. This has been a slow build for me but it's finally done except for the wrench that goes on the back.
mustang1989 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) Glad to see that this one did good at the show Dan!!! Thumbs up on the award! Here's you a pic I took while we were there: Edited October 12, 2015 by mustang1989
426-Hemi Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 WELL.... you know I've been gone awhile. this one was just getting started..... AND I come back and BOOM it hits me like a ton-a-bricks! That cross-ram Hemi ought to motivate the roll back, and its cargo around the city pretty dang fast! And then a cross-ram on the loaded one too !???? NICE Work man!
Mopar - D Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Thanks John, by the way the hot rod parts go getter has a creat Hemi in the back of it.
