Superpeterbilt Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I really like this. The wheel swap is perfect. This is a seriously great build. Fine job!
Tesla Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 All fine looking builds and I've enjoyed this topic very much! One day I'll tackle my KW 123.
Ken Gilkeson Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 many thanx greg and gino for sharing your amazing trucks. ;-))
Old Buckaroo Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 LONG LIVE CABOVERS!!!!! This has to be my most favorite thread. If I had a dollar for all the minutes spent here looking at the cabovers. Greg - You have coe's everywhere in your house. I am surprised you dont have a table centerpiece with a flatbed holding napkins, salt & pepper ect
k100 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I thought I would repost the White Road Commander ll I built from KFS .
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 I thought I would repost the White Road Commander ll I built from KFS . I've always wanted one of those. Excellent job on this one!!! I always liked these trucks in 1:1.
k100 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Thank you Sam.Brian , thank you its a really nice kit to build. I like the old cab overs just don't see many any more.
Ken Gilkeson Posted December 12, 2015 Author Posted December 12, 2015 thanx for sharin' your great build Dewitt ;-))
1959scudetto Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Nice conversion, gino, with the flatbed/stake behind the cab on that western long wheel base! You even lowered the headlights to the correct height - great!!!
Mike77 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 A couple of COEs I built years ago. A Transtar II day cab and a 1/16 KW Aerodyne...
1959scudetto Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Very nice Coe's, Mike - especially the KW must have been a lot of work - a scratchbuilt front combined with the aerodyne cab sure requires a lot of adoptions: shortened frame, relocated exhaust pipes, scratchbuilt sun visor and handlebars etc etc. - amazing!!!
Mike77 Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 (edited) Very nice Coe's, Mike - especially the KW must have been a lot of work - a scratchbuilt front combined with the aerodyne cab sure requires a lot of adoptions: shortened frame, relocated exhaust pipes, scratchbuilt sun visor and handlebars etc etc. - amazing!!! Thank you! It was quite a bit of work to do, but it was fun. I built it at least a dozen years ago. I had to have it towed once by my 1/16 wrecker! Edited December 19, 2015 by Mike77
