Got more work done on the hand built chassis. This is going to be one heck of a lot of round styrene!!!

Building this based on the Vanishing Point style Pro Mod cars.

I will start cutting the body up this weekend. -- wait, wait, no i am wrenching on my '49 this weekend... too many distractions! AHHH

Here are some not so great (out of focus) pictures:

Here are more updates to my entry. The chassis is painted, front and rear suspensions are in place and the wheels have been painted and are nearing ready for permanent assembly. Next comes brake detail, front and rear and additional chassis detail.

Heres more update photos. The engine has begun. The blower is a resin piece from Comp Resins. The pulley system is from Arrowhead Aluminum, the photo etch engine detail set is from Model Car Garage. I exchanged the FC engine with one from a Revell top fuel kit. The detail is far better.

Also, I had to make an adjustment to the body after reviewing some additional research pics. of the real car. The front end wasn't long enough in front of the front wheelwells. So, I cut the front of the body off and extended it.

Quit admiring your replies and views and get to building, you still got a long way to go my brother. The farther backward you can look, the farther foward you are likely to see.

All them build's are looking very nice guy's keep up the good work.
