slider51 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Hello! My name is Don.I am 45 yrs old and live in Central Pennsylvania. When I was just a kid my brother was into it so of coarse you always want to do what big brother is doing.I haven't done much modeling the last 10 yrs.You know how family life can be!..lol..Well this winter I got back into the swing.Unfortunately my brother passed away last summer and mom gave me his model collection. In that collection were four kits already in progress two of them almost finished.I couldn't resist finishing my brothers work!I finished those two plus four more of my own!But I have to say I thought I put a pretty nice model together but WOW!Some of the work I am seeing on here is just amazing!I didn't know all this detailing material and techniques existed!

Petetrucker07 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) Welcome Don. The level of excellence here is mind blowing. As long as your happy with what you build, that's all that matters. Happy modeling man. Edited April 23, 2015 by Petetrucker07
Foxer Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Welcome to the forum, Don. I'm sure your brother would approve of such home for his work ... most of us can only hope our stash and partial builds end up in the hands of someone who will appreciate and enjoy.
Sixties Sam Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Hi, Don. Welcome to the forum. You'll learn a lot here! I'm a PA guy too, about 10 miles east of Penn State U. Sam
Stray Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Sorry for the loss of your brother man, but well done finishing his builds. I know if I passed away I would like someone to at least finish what I had started, an unfinished kit is a sad thing. Welcome back to the bench buddy
