Scott Colmer Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I'm a leftie too. Waiting for the mother ship to come get us. You can keep your stupid scissors.

426-Hemi Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I'm a 42..... WELL I'm mostly a rightie, BUT I do quite a few things leftie, and with that, one time I was a switch hitter........ (I can STILL bat in baseball BOTH!) BUT, I was ambidextrous at one time till my right hand got smashed in a press.... The physical therapy to it made me mostly right handed after that. BUT I still do things left handed.... I steer the car or my truck with my left hand..... steady it with the right but most movement on the steering wheel done with the lead from my left hand! BUT....... When I got to drive to N. Carolina a few months ago, talkin' with the step-daughter on the way home she had a good point.... she does it too, and shes a definite "rightie"..... WE BOTH drive stick! -I'm guilty of resting my right hand on the gear shift knob........ So that makes sense! Interesting thread tho guys!
Roadrunner Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 50, perfect balance, though I would have assumed more left than right, but what do I know?
Tom Geiger Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 BUT I still do things left handed.... WE BOTH drive stick! -I'm guilty of resting my right hand on the gear shift knob........ You steer with your left hand because you drive a stick and shift with your right hand. I do it too. It doesn't matter if you are driving an automatic or haven't even driven a stick for a long time. It's just a habit. I learned to drive stick when I was 19. At first, I had no experience steering with my left hand and thought I'd never get it. But soon enough you learn that skill. And since then, I probably do more things left handed than I realize.
thatz4u Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Averages range for left handedness from 6-9% of the global populations. That's an awful lot of backwards people. left side of the body is controlled by the right side of the brain......Meaning only Leftys are in their right mind!!!
Roadrunner Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 So since I'm right handed, I guess I'm using all that's left.
Roadrunner Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 While I was there, I also took several other tests, including the generic IQ test. No real surprises with the results, but always a lot of fun. Cool site, and bookmarked.
