Chris Squire, bassist and founding member of the band YES, has died of leukemia at 67. :(

His bass was a big part of the YES sound...

Yes was on my college turntable I don't remember how many times in the early '70 ... actually, I don't remember much at all from back then :o:blink:;)

I saw Yes at the LA forum in 1971 or '72 during their Fragile tour- best concert I've ever been to

Geddy Lee said he wanted to be Chris Squire when he grew up

RIP

More of Squire's impressive bass playing from another under appreciated Yes album (Drama). Believe it or not this was actually the first Yes album I ever owned.

THANKS AFX.........sometimes you forget how utterly FANTASTIC the entire YES catalog is........I include Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe too.....

I have had a terrible 31/2 weeks with hospitals, deaths and more hospitals. If I could I'd lock myself in a room with all my YES and stay for a week.

I'd feel better.....

Jon Anderson has not been well for a while....hope he's better...

Sitting down in a darkened room with your beverage of choice and listening to an album is good therapy.
