IceMan Collections Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Can anyone help? Not sure what kit they belong to. AMT? SMP?
pack rat Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 The upholstery pattern isn't very clear in your pic, but it looks like both parts are from an AMT '61 Buick
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 The X-frame was a GM mainstay from '57 through '64 (Rivera through '70).
GLMFAA1 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Very curious if that is a Buick interior tub, I don't recall side pin locators on the old kits. greg
IceMan Collections Posted July 12, 2015 Author Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) One more, please. Edited July 12, 2015 by iceman-555
BIGTRUCK Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) Looks like Revell 56 Chevy, except trunk detail and interior detail are gone. Edited July 12, 2015 by BIGTRUCK
Force Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 It looks more like the AMT 55 Chevy to me, the Revell 55 chassis has separate exhaust systems.

Did the AMT '55 have poseable steering? I know the AMT '55 Nomad did (but it has a different fuel tank, etc.). Edited July 12, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy
Force Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) Yes the 55 Sedan kit also has poseable steering. Edited July 12, 2015 by Force
IceMan Collections Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 Thanks for all the help. Here's a resin chassis that I found also. I'm sure it's from an old AMT annual....maybe?
pack rat Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Looks like an AMT '65-66 Impala chassis. Probably a copy of the promo (molded-in engine).
IceMan Collections Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Thanks Mike. That was just enough to find what it is. It's a copy of the old AMT 67 Impala. I have some tops I will be posting later that I need help with as well. Man you guys are amazing being able to identify these just like that. I hope I can the same after some time.
pack rat Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I don't know why I was just thinking '65 and '66 ....I just looked at my Modelhaus '67 Impala....there it is
IceMan Collections Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 (edited) and you know what, it might even be Modelhaus. The lot of parts has a few items from them. Ok here are a few more. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Edited July 14, 2015 by iceman-555

pack rat Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 1-PMC Chev pickup promo (59-ish) 2-MPC Pinto wagon tailights 3-AMT 56 Ford 4-AMT 67(?) Corvette conv 6 and 11-Monogram '55 Chev (original) 9-AMT 65 GTO (maybe 8 too) 10-AMT 57 T-Bird (original) of-the-top-of-my-head guesses.
Fabrux Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 5 - Looks an awful lot like a 66-67 Charger roof. 10 - Studebaker roof, maybe? 12 - Silhouette trailer? 14 - AMT '65 Chevelle wagon/El Camino
moparfarmer Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 the first interior tub looks to be that of a 61 Ford..The side door handles don't look like where a Buicks would be..Seat design to me looks like Ford Galaxie...

If it is, then my Buick has the wrong tub in it.
