Modlbldr Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) I threw my hat in the ring this last weekend to do the 3 day weekend CBP. I let my wife pick the kit out of 5 different kits I figured fit the bill. She picked the Vette AGIN and said that she wanted me to paint it Sublime Green. I had raided the kit for the tires and wheels a while back so I grabbed a set from the parts box. Here is what I ended up with. The engine: The paint on the seat was the result of a long night and a couple of adult beverages. Need to touch it up. The rest: It was a fun little build but the front sits a bit too high. There is also no mirrors or license plate. I may add these later. Later- Edited July 7, 2015 by Modlbldr
Petetrucker07 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Very nice man. It was cool to watch this come together over weekend. Well done.
Modlbldr Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 Thanks Clayton. I enjoyed the work you did on that Nova. Great paint work. Later-
spencer1984 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Nice to see one of these built! They seem to be a fairly unpopular kit, but you've shown that even a quick "weekender" can look great.
bobthehobbyguy Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Nicely done. I find it enjoyable to do a quick build once in a while.
unclescott58 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Very nice. I always like the looks of this car. Scott
Modlbldr Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 Thanks again guys. I had bought this years ago with the intention of doing a modern style dune buggy by sectioning/trimming off the very bottom of the body sides and adding a buggy interior bucket. I may find another kit someday and give it a try. Later-
