MarkJ Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 Bruce, the body is the Powerslide 2013 Chevy SS resin body purchased from Mike's decals. I also purchased the 2007 Revell Jeff Gordon donor kit from Mike to use to make the chassis. If I had known that the Revell Gen 6 ford snap kit was coming out in September when I started this build back in March I probably would not have bothered to build this model. Hopefully they will also do a Chevy and Toyota.
GoatGuy Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Excellent job. How did you paint the rivets on the windows?
Dirt Demon Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Very nice!... I have that body waiting in the wings to be done as well.

MarkJ Posted July 10, 2015 Author Posted July 10, 2015 The rivets are painted using the tip of a toothpick sharpened to a very fine point. I also used aluminum metallizer paint because it flows and drys quickly.
