Bettsu Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 Upon opening the box the decals have turned to powder... looks like this is going to be a test bed for many new techniques

Atmobil Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Upon opening the box the decals have turned to powder... looks like this is going to be a test bed for many new techniques You could possibly get a new set of decals trough the forums? I got the kit myself in the stash in the old Esci edition of it, personally I'm not sure I would use the decalsheet for it. I can check if the decalsheet is ok in mine. If it is you can have it
superbike-shaun Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Atmobil,b4 you do anything,scan that decal sheet,then,decide,what you will do.Shaun
Sean W Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Ahh, a challenge right off the bat. Welcome to the hobby, and the forum Mark.
PatW Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 I've had the decal problem many times with older kits. If you can find the images through say Google search you can copy them save to picture files and print them onto white decal paper that you can get from the Crafty Computer Paper Company online.
hjracing Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Hello! I have the same kit, and as long as I know, my decals are intac, and I'll don't want to use, so I can trade or I can scan those for you!
ZTony8 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 If the decals haven't crumbled into pieces spray some clear lacquer over them. That will make them useable.
