On  Friday I picked up the Revell 68 Hemi Dart at the Michaels in Mooresville, NC for $5.99. Just got back from my local Michaels here in Salisbury,NC and the same kit was clearance priced at $14.99. The Revell  57 Chevy had a sticker on the shelf for $5.99 but were sold out. In Mooresville the clearance price was $12.99.

I did pick up a Revell 62 Impala SS that scanned on their price checker as a 63 Chevy Impala for $5.99.

If you have the time when you go to a Michaels, price check on their scanner any kits you may be interested in. I found their shelf tags and kit prices are not correct in certain circumstances.

Thanks for the tip Frank, I will have to check them out. Most of the Michaels I have been in lately didn't have much to choose from and what they did have, many were open boxes. I wonder if they are getting ready to update and revamp their kit section like Hobby Lobby is?

I'll have to ck the scanner next time. The Dart was priced at 24.99 when I was there 2 Fridays ago.

Same here. The Mooresville, NC location has about a dozen or more different  AMT/MPC kits than the Salisbury, NC store. The Salisbury store has only has about three different AMT/MPC kits and less Revell kits than Mooresville..

We're getting a new Micheal in Victorville. They're moving from one side of the freeway to the other. The new building is a lot bigger. I know the model section will be the same half an isle. I need to go check out the old building before they open the the new one.

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up a '57 Chevy and a '69 Z-28 for $5.99 ea., and 2 Hemi Darts for $6.99 ea. They also had a '63 Impala, but I passed on that.

I'll start hitting all the Michaels and Hobby Lobby stores here locally in the next couple of months, bargain hunting. My recent purchase of the AMT 3 Stooges '40 panel delivery at HL, was a very fun find on clearance.
