Hubert Rollins
Enjoyed building this one!! Painted her up slick, slammed some powerslides on, scratch-built several parts, and here she is!! My first NASCAR build in about 17 years. I can promise you this, as much fun as I had on this one it won't take me that long to build another!! More detailed info on the build on the NASCAR forum if you're interested.
kalbert
That looks really great. I'm a big Underbird fan and have always wanted to it. How did you make the window net?
Hubert Rollins
That looks really great. I'm a big Underbird fan and have always wanted to it. How did you make the window net?I have a template from a window net kit I ordered from Detail Master years ago. I don't know if such a thing is available still or not. The window net is just paper though, cut using the template and glued together with Elmers School Glue. I brush painted it with flat black acrylic, mounted it on two wire rods and glued it to the rollcage.
kalbert
It looks pretty good for being painted paper! Very convincing, thanks for the explanation.

snacktruck67
A very nice build. At least someone can do the tires and window net up right. That is the same way Mach2 taught me. Great stuff.
