I really like your posts JC. I have learned a lot from reading and looking at your posts. The pictures are super high quality and you do a good job of showing step by step progress without 9 pictures of the same thing.

Thanks so much.

Great work here on this build as usual.

You should look up the Mk2 Ford Escort RS 1800 build if you haven't seen it Mitch, it's amazing!

Any news on it JC?

I have seen it Shay, you're right, amazing.  There are a couple completely from scratch builds that are very educational and interesting too.

Thanks Mitch & Shay.  All that remains to do are the driving lights and decals.  Just have to make some bench time and get it done!

More engine work.  Dry sump oil pan cut from another junk Monogram engine and modified to fit. Distributor is a pre-drilled unit from Replica & Miniatures.  Expansion tank is from the Revell parts pack engine.

Scratchbuilt headers I take it? Great progress thus for JC!

Thanks Joe.  No the headers on the 427 are from the Monogram kit, just had to adjust them a bit to fit the Revell 1/25 scale block.

Not sure which one I like more . : )

Me neither Ray.  Already have a couple Cobras in the display case but I keep building them. :)

Finally tracked down a copy of the SAAC Registry for a reasonable price.  Haven't received the book yet but I have wanted  this book for a long time.  Would like to have the newest edition but it is painfully expensive.   This should help with the details.;)

Thanks Joe.

Mockup with the side pipes in place.  The pipes still need a lot or work but we are getting there.

The book arrived and it confirms some details I had discovered about the car which I will try to incorporate into the build.

Thanks for the comments Mark, glad you like the build.
