Does anyone know of an aftermarket Jag rear end for hot rod applications? I know there are kits like the Li'l John Butera rods that have them but I was wondering if they could be sourced on their own.  Thanks.

I've managed to salvage some from cheap gluebomb E-type built-ups, or partial kits. Only prob with the gluebombs is that the rear end may be fused into a solid, unusable lump...but sometimes you get lucky too.

If the Tamiya Jaguar MkII Saloon has a good one, I can part with one. Found a great deal on that kit a while back and bought 3 for parts.

If Dave doesn't follow thru on your offer of a Jag rear end...I will step up & trade / purchase.   In need for a roadster project...that I been unsuccessful at coming up with an unmolested Lil John rear end & suspension.  LMK. what you'd need.

I'm pretty sure the Jag MkII has a solid axle in the rear, not IRS.

This kit has the same IRS and frame as the Lil John kit.  $19, free shipping.

Unfortunately, the body and engine are seriously underscale to fit the Buttera chassis. The body is about right for a '34 Fiat.
