cobraman Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Finished up this morning. I see on the photo that the firewall doesn't meet the body. I will fix that.
wayne swayze Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Looks good Ray. Too bad they didn't provide suspension options to get it lower. You've done a nice job!
Harry P. Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Nicely done Ray. I like the contrast of the blue and the wood colors. But it looks like the door handles and door hinges are "wood?" And the wipers are body color. A fine brush and some Testors Silver will take care of that.
cobraman Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 Thanks guys. Harry you eagle eye, I did forget to do that. : ) I know better and will paint them before putting them in the cabinet. Actually I did lower the front if you can believe that. I was higher.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Looks good, especially the wood colors. As others have said, that particular blue complements the wood very nicely.
rmvw guy Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Nice one! I would love to get a few surfboards for the '48 Woody I am working on now. I did notice that about the hinges being body color on some of the photos I have been viewing. I thought it looked a little odd at first and then I realized they are metal, so it makes sense.
Roadrunner Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Very nice. I still can't believe how fast some of you guys are at building these.
Ramfins59 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Nice work Ray. I'll get around to working on one of these some day.
cobraman Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 It is a pretty nice kit but the front needs to be lowered more than I lowered mine. IMO
madhorseman Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) Really nicely done Ray.I also like the color a lot!! Any shots of the interior? Edited October 10, 2015 by madhorseman
cobraman Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Thanks guys. I will try and remember to post an interior shot but it's very stock.
