Ridge Rider Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 This started as a half built badly painted example of this model. With some modifications and light scratch building I ended up with this. I think turned out quite nice. Thanks for looking.
rmvw guy Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Yeah it is a UTE! Very nice! I just happen to be working on the '48 Woody right now. Nice to see one finished this way.
Tom Geiger Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I love it! Great work, very convincing. I like that you used the split rear window.
Sixties Sam Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Very cool concept, well executed. It's the world's first Ranchero! Very good work on this model!Sam
MGL Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Very nice and original. What paint did you use ? I really like the color.
peekay Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Really like this! Great concept and very well built.
Ridge Rider Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Thank you for the kind words. Mark I wish I could remember the color but I painted it a couple years ago and then put it off until I got brave enough to attempt wood. It was Testors spray enamel from at least 20yrs ago so there is a good chance it is no longer available.
Atmobil Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Love this one, very cool looking and an excellent idea
