Bad Black Willy's

This is the Monogram 41' Willy's street rod kit,

I have lowered it a bit, the wheels are from a pro street kit with some lower profile street tyres.

i opened up the trunk and filled it with a fuel cell and battery., also added a pair of bigass carby's on top of the blown hemi.

Paint is ebony black Auto acrylic. ( the orange tinge is because it was photographed on sunset.).

Very nice. The paint is especially nice. But you made two mistakes that most people who build a model of this particular car make:

1. You left that molded "lip" around the windshield clear. That's supposed to represent the rubber molding, and should be flat black, not clear.

2. There is no apostrophe in "Willys." It's the name of the car... Willys... it doesn't belong to Willy. ;)

Thanks very much guys, Harry, i never was real good with gramma at school , too interested in cars, and i realized i missed the rubber on the screen a little to late,

BUT, it wont happen again.  :)

Dale,

THAT looks SHARP in black........... Nice work man! -Also nice added Blower...... you have to add that to the kit or was it with it? (I got the kit, but have it packed away for a bit till I get other projects done BEFORE I go starting another one!)

Didn't think that Willy's would look so good in black!
