Cardz Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Another build from awhile back...my only hot rod so far.
Harry P. Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 That's pretty cool. Very nice photos, too! ...but you're not going to get very far with no hoses carrying coolant to the engine...
cobraman Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Don't care for the color of the wheels but other than that it's pretty sharp.
blunc Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 That's pretty cool. Very nice photos, too! ...but you're not going to get very far with no hoses carrying coolant to the engine... he'll probly get where he's going....one quarter mile at a time.
CoyoteCrunch Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I myself have got to start building some of these hot rods. Have tons of them in the collection - and you have definitely nailed it for the frist go round - seriously awesome work here - engine is detailed supremely well, the stance is spot on street worthy, very nice work!!
Cardz Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 That's pretty cool. Very nice photos, too! ...but you're not going to get very far with no hoses carrying coolant to the engine... that goes to show how much i know about these cars....there were no heater.hoses in the kit or directions.
Jon Haigwood Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I like it. I like the opened canvas on the roof opening
Harry P. Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 that goes to show how much i know about these cars....there were no heater.hoses in the kit or directions. Not heater hoses. Coolant hoses. From the radiator to the engine block and back again (upper and lower hoses).
bbowser Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 The canvas roof and the butterflies on the blower hat are very convincing. How did you do the blueing on the headers?
Cardz Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 thats what i ment Harry...coolant hoses.the bluing.is brushed on transparent blueThe canvas roof and the butterflies on the blower hat are very convincing. How did you do the blueing on the headers?
CoyoteCrunch Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 I know if you take a blue sharpie, dab it on a dampened q tip, and wipe the q tip on the header, you can get this result.
