Dann Tier Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 This is a Revell kit that my wife, Tina, and I decided to build together for a friend who ones the actual car -Tuxedo Black. We only had the hood pins and Cowl induction flap left to finish when the photos were taken.

Greg Pugh Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Wow! That's sharp! Probably my favorite color combo for one of these. So what did you do and what did the Mrs. do?
Dann Tier Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Sharp Dann! One of the nicest '70 Chevelles I've ever seen! Don't you just love those old BF Goodrich tires?! Steve ya, Steve, they are sweet! these were from ARII. its a real shame they don't make them anymore -and they are VERY hard to find!! AMT sucks at BF Goodrich tires.

Belugawrx Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Nice job you two ! Very realistic finish there,... Now you just need to figure out your lighting for pic taking.... Well done Cheers
Burnout Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Very nice build of a great muscle car. It look great! I too am curious regarding what contributions were made by you vs. the Mrs.
Custom Mike Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Dann, Tina, you two should build together more often, this is great! Where did you get the foam ring around the air cleaner from, I could use a ton of that!

Dann Tier Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 Sharp Dann! One of the nicest '70 Chevelles I've ever seen! Don't you just love those old BF Goodrich tires?! Steve Tina found ALOT of the ARII BF Goodrich tire/wheel sets on line! -only problem is they are asking 60.00!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dann Tier Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 I appreciate the kind words, Guys!! Thnx for looking!!
Dann Tier Posted December 2, 2015 Author Posted December 2, 2015 We want to thank you all for your nice comments! we tried to separate who did what, but in order to teach her more ways to do things, we literally shared tasks. Id prime/sand, shed prime/sand, id apply photo etch, she would, and so on. What I will say is that she did most of the Alclad work, and ALL the decal work -especially the stripes! I messed my set up completely!!
