raisin27 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Nothing fancy here, was going for a clean look. Something you might see at a local cruize. Thanks for looking, Raisin
ajulia Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 hello there friend! Those are some beautiful colors you chose for this build . That interior is the business very clean and colorful looks really great. True in the color combo of the era! Keep on wit the keepin on!!! peace ajulia
Bernard Kron Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I was really looking forward to seeing this completed. It delivers on so many levels. It sits perfectly. The colors show the car’s line off to perfection. And the detailing achieves a realism that complements the tasteful classicism of this scale replica. Love those chrome reverse rims, BTW! B.
Guest Davkin Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Mike, your "nothing fancy" sure has plenty of "wow" factor. I always love your builds, so clean and always have interesting details. David
geetee66 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 This is superb! The engine detailing is so clean. I love the flamed rocker-covers. Good choice of colours, too. Gives the car visual weight, if you know what I mean... Lovely!
cruz Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 The interior is awesome, nice color combinations in there......
MrObsessive Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I had to do a double take when I first saw this..........you got rid of the B pillar! Very slick indeed!
RodBurNeR Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 this is sweet Mike! going to add this to my favorite's, i like everything about it!
Fisher61 Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Very cool! I like the Belair style two tone! Real nice build!
raisin27 Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 Thank You everyone, the comments are all appreciated. Ive been asked by a few about the hood ornament, why I shaved the other emblems and left it on. Well I did that because I have always liked hood ornaments but I can see the point they are making. It in fact might look cleaner without it so........I was lucky enough to find another hood in a junk box at last weekends SEMMEX show and Im making one without the ornament, now I will be able to display it either way. Raisin
bsoder Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 EXCELLENT!!...clean and smooth, perfect for a cruz night
