moonshine diorama

here in the  pic u will see that i have done more work i have puts some rocks that i made for plaster then crushed it to make the rocks then i painted them i used eath undercoat with yellow ocher with burnt umber and it came out look great i think and i used a wash after it was all dry added some rocks around the pond as well still lots to do here are some pic for u all

cool theme , you beat me to it .. luckely i had a difefrent idea in a more hoarders yard setting .. with moonshine still and some wrecks

love the work you did .. in doubt on the scale you are working in , looks ho but seeing the still it looks bigger scale ??

thanks rich not to sure of the ho scale it might be i had to redao the still i will have pic to night on it. difefrent idea on yours cant wait to see pic on it i got the  idea of the sill form the show moonshiners mark and digger set up lol theres still so much to be done . thanks again rich

ok now here is a pic of the redo of the moonshine still.this just one pot of a two pot still i have one more to make of the one in the pic just thot id show a pic of it the bricks that u see around the pot are make from strip styrene 2.5x3.2 mm cut to there size and sanded and glued aorund the pot there is still paint to be done on them and a wash to make look like bricks hope u all like the pic ps in the center of the pot there will be a bunner with gas lines going to it as well

hi all sorry took so long for update  but in the pic u will see that i have make a condenser. and i made a a little table for the  condenser to sit on i have most of the pipe done just a bit more then i will paint in copper here a pic

got a lot done to the diorama lastnight started to add lots of trees and bush and rocks. still got lots to add like dead fall and stuff but it reallyis looking sharp now there still lots to add to it but i love the way it looking now here some pic for u all

i went an added a road in now all i have to do is add some weeds and dead fall to the sides of the raod and some rocks this is so close to be all done then just need to find that old 1940s car that will fit the scenic let me know what u all think thank u all

If you add a modern pickup truck, And three men at the still site you'd have Discovery channel's Moonshiners! as Mark and Digger used this concept this season on the show along with Jim Tom, They first made apple rye then hazel nut rum on their 2 still set up.

yes ranma i know hat u mean i watch that show all the time amd yes there will be a car added but the guys iam makeing it for want to use a 1940 cupe for this .id love to do the mark and digger way i think it will fit the scenic the best . thank for your info

the moonshine dia it all done just waiting for the 1940 model car diacast for it now as i did this for a good friend of mine he got it off ebay just waiting to get here . i got all the dead fall in place now here are some pic of it
