Petetrucker07 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) What a mind trip. This is just.... I don't know. The big concert in the darkness of forever is gonna be one hellavuh show. Another loss of one of the greats in Rock music. His diagnosis, extremely agggresive, no, kidding. Dec 26, learned of it, gone today. R.I.P. Lemmy....... Edited December 29, 2015 by Petetrucker07
JTalmage Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) R.I.P. Lemmy. I was fortunate enough to see them play in 2012 at the Mayhem Festival here in Cincinnati. Man it was cool, saw Anthrax for the 2nd time, and Slayer for the first time too at that concert and that was a real treat. He was one of those guys who you really thought was never gonna die considering the way he lived! Kris Morgan Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 That is what I thought it was. I did a search for "Lemmy" as well as "Motorhead" No luck.
SfanGoch Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) Bummer......first Philthy Animal in November, now Lemmy. The boys never disappointed and always put on a great show. The first time i saw Motorhead live was at the Zeppelinfeld in Nurnberg on Sept.4, 1983, part of The Monsters of Rock series. They were the third act on stage after Meat Loaf. Robbo* was swinging the ax for the band during this tour with Phil Taylor on drums. Lemmy tore it up on "Ace of Spades". *This was also the last gig that Phil Lynott played with Thin Lizzy. Ironic that Robbo also was once a member of Thin Lizzy and this was his last tour with Motorhead. Edited December 29, 2015 by SfanGoch

Petetrucker07 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Here's an article with what Lars Ulrich, Tom Morel and Ozzy had to say about the loss to rock world.http://uproxx.com/music/lemmy-kilmister-passed-motorhead-ozzy-osbourne-tom-morello-lars-ulrich/
426-Hemi Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Thanks for posting that Clayton! I bet ole Lemmy was a character no less, he just seems the type too! (that is), if you read about things hes done and said.....
Petetrucker07 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) I heard on the satellite today on Jim Florentine's show, a story about his nephew almost having his first drink of alcohol with Lemmy last year. Lemmy said no kid, you don't want to go down that road. So the kid had some lemonade, which Lemmy gave him. He had a "drink" with Lemmy. Edited January 3, 2016 by Petetrucker07
