cobraman Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Finished this one up this morning. Pretty nice kit that goes together fairly well. It was built pretty much stock but added a couple of styling cues from the Shelby Cobra. Added items are the side pipes but still left the stock rear exhaust in place. Also added the Cobra roll bar. Blacked out the wheels. Car was painted with Duplicolor Chrome Yellow and Duplicolor clear.
wayne swayze Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Good looking Cobra ! Your builds just keep getting better ! Some nice detail there and good looking paint.
cobraman Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 Thanks guys. I do think this car looks good in yellow.
louie Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 To me the 1/1 never got the attention that it deserved. Cobraman you did an outstanding job on this one and like I posted on the your other thread seeing And reading what goes into these gorgeous models just makes me try to become better myself. Also I absolutely love the color on this car. Thank you. Jeff
bogger44 Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Nice work Ray. I like those subtle additions you made. And it looks great in yellow to boot!
Harry P. Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I'm not familiar with the real car, but that is one sweet model!
Allen Wrench Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Looks nice! The only change I'd make would be to shorten the roll hoop a bit ... It looks a little too tall to my eye.
cobraman Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Thank you guys. I have to admit I think the roll bar is too high myself now that you mention it.
Helix Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Very nice Ray, agree with Allen re the Roll Bar mate
slusher Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great build Ray, i do like the yellow and roll bar...
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Ray are you going to do a summary of your 2015 models?
cobraman Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Ray are you going to do a summary of your 2015 models?Hey Bob , I wish I could but to be honest I don't really remember when I did what. I would remember a few for sure but I am hazy on when they were actually built.
