disabled modeler Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) Mark will do the filling in of the info on these kool kars!!!!!! Thanks Kerry... These two are from my dads old collection...both were in need of lots of help. The 59 Buick convertible was really rough loads of custom stuff added to it that had been removed but left lots of damage...the scale figures are just sitting in it. The 70 Impala HT was in need of help too but not as badly. Thanks for looking... Edited January 6, 2016 by disabled modeler
bismarck Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Those look sweet Mark!! Love the Impala. My brother had that same body style Impala when i was a kid. Nice builds!!
bbowser Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Very nice! I would love to get my paws on a '59 Buick but I can't justify the $$. My late grandmother had that exact Impala (Caprice) with a black vinyl roof, loved that car!
Mr Stock Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Love that Impala Mark, looks very nice, what wheels are on that ?
disabled modeler Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Love that Impala Mark, looks very nice, what wheels are on that ? Thanks everyone...I really appreciate it.... Those wheels are from an old AMT 72 Nova kit Gary...I just thought they looked good one it plus I did not have the correct ones for it. Nie... Thanks...I like to use scale figures to add a touch to them sometimes. I have 2 large dioramas I want to build that will need very many of them...many of the old kits came with them.
Grumpa Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 A couple of really nice resurrections Mark! The '70 Impala was my third car...only it was a rag top with a beefed-up 350. Wish I had it back!
disabled modeler Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Thanks Mark and Craig.... I use to own a 69 Impala SS HT and a 70 4door HT years ago...ended up giving the 70 to my mother to drive.
GTJUNIOR Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Beautiful restorations Mark. Superb workmanship.
disabled modeler Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Thanks Tony..! Sorry about the poor photo quality...I just wish you could have seen them before.
