Mr Stock Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Finished 2 models this weekend ...a world record for me!, I've had this one on the bench for far too long do about time I finished it up. This is the 1970 AMT Ford Custom police interceptor, I've built it as a detectives/undercover car, the interior is detail painted and I've added a cb radio, dash spotlamp and a shotgun. The engine has been modified from the kit motor, this is meant to represent a 351.It's a very basic kit but it's turned out ok I think.
GTJUNIOR Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Looks good, reminds me of the detective cars I used to see on TV in the early 80's.
Maindrian Pace Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Very nice job, the cops had some cool cars back in those days.
donb Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Sort of Dirty Harry-ish! Looks good!I was thinking the same thing! Nice interior detail too.
Harry Joy Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I like this a lot. And I really dig the weathering on the tires.
disabled modeler Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Nice work.... I like it..! I think we need more 4door and wagon kits to build.
Mr Stock Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 Thanks all for the very kind comments
6bblbird Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Looks good, reminds me of the detective cars I used to see on TV in the early 80's. TV? Heck , that brings back scary memories from when I first started driving (street racing?)!!!Great job!
